Hi all.
Here is a weird case.
If the theme selected is default theme "pmbt" then all pages can be displayed normally.
On the other hand, if I select a different theme, from the ones provided in this forum, then all pages cannot be displayed.
No error message comes up. It seems to load the page properly but nothing is displayed.
The procedure i followed is to upload the theme folder to the themes folder of my site.
Then i logged in with a user account i have created and selected a different theme than that of the default.
I have done the same procedure with many themes provided in this forum.
However, the result is the same. a blank page.
if i delete the theme folder inside the themes folder of the site then, most obviously, everything comes back to normal.
Why is this happening? why the default theme is able to load and display pages correctly while the other themes cannot load?

step 1 down load new theme
step 2 extract the theme from .rar
step 3 upload the theme folder(wich ever)to the themes directory(makesure it is viewable)
step 4 go to your site and change your theme
those are the steps needed is that what you followed?
If so check the file main.php makeing sure it is not blank.

i did down load the new theme.
i did extract it from .rar.
i did upload it to the theme folder
i did change the theme specifically for the user I created, not for the entire site.
i checked the main.php of the new theme and it is not blank.

Moreover, how can "main.php" of the theme be blank?
Is that ever possible?
Do you literally mean blank or some values inside of it to be blank?

I did mean blank as nothen on it some time it dose happen if there is a error on upload.
what theme are you trying to add and what browser are you useing?

I have tried "acidtech", "hypercube" and "1thank"
I am using firefox.
And no, the main.php is not blank. Upload was always completed successfully. I had it double checked.
I know it is probably not the themes' fault, but maybe you or someone else have came across such issue and hopefully, by posting this thread, will give to me and to others some answers.

can you view your server error reports?
and if so do you see any errors about that theme?

Sorry, no I can not see any error reports.
I think that such feature, of logging errors, is not available in the server I have deployed the entire site.

However, what I did is to use Microsoft Internet Explorer to login as a user and select a new theme, not the default one.

The only "useful" information that it gave me was a "HTTP 500"
Nothing more, nothing less..

the one from the main directory.
the one from the themes folder.
the one from the specific theme folder.

Well, nothing new..
I first replaced the code in the .htaccess file of the Hypercube theme folder.
Same story. blank page.
Then I deleted the .htaccess file from the Hypercube theme folder.
again. blank page.
Unless i was replacing code in the wrong .htaccess file or deleting the wrong .htaccess file, the story remains the same.
blank page.
However, what i noticed is that the .htaccess file of the "themes" folder (the folder that contains the two themes and their respectively folders) is blank.
Not a single line of code in there.
